NFL Football - Week 5 Scores, Notable Stats, and Recap

embeded

Week 5 is now in the books. What did you think? Good games? Bad games? Annoying games? Did your favorite player go off for over 200 yards receiving? Really, your favorite player in the entire NFL is Will Fuller V of the Houston Texans? No offense to Will Fuller V, but most people probably didn't even know you play receiver for the Texans? Quick, name a wide receiver for the Houston Texans? If you didn't name DeAndre Hopkins first, you'd be lying. Quit yo' lyin' foo!!! Yes, the Texans as a whole looked great in week 5, but look at who they played... the Falcons! By the way, in case you missed it, the Atlanta Falcons blew a 28-3 lead against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 51. Guess where they played Super Bowl 51? Yup! NRG Stadium in Houston, TX! (those references will never get old). Guess where the Falcons were this past Sunday? Yup! NRG Stadium in Houston, TX! Oh, the memories!!! Anyway, there were a few other players that completely went off over the weekend (for better or for worse). Let's get to the results of the games [and my predictions] below.

So there you have it folks. Week 5 is in the books. Some teams performed as well as I though they would, others not so much. It's good to the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals finally notched their first wins for their respective first year head coach. New England continues to be New England. How long will the 49ers stay undefeated? And are they legit or just a product of their schedule? We'll see in the coming weeks.

For those of you who are wondering, my record for Week 5 predictions is 8-6. Not too shabby my friends! I'll have to go back and do some math to determine what my season total so far is. Stay tuned! But to see my original Week 5 predictions and analysis of the games, click [here].

Don't forget folks, Week 6 starts with tomorrow night's Thursday Night Football game between the Giants of New York and the Patriots of New England. It'll be Brady and Belichick against their old nemesis, only this time, Eli is riding the bench. How will Daniel Jones look when he has to face the GOAT!? Young buck versus Old GOAT..... hmm....

Stay tuned for my Week 6 game predictions and analysis too... this should be fun!
